Emulator - Mobile Device Simulator

Display your page as it would appear in mobile phones and other size devices.

The UBCMS has a built-in tool to preview your pages as if they were being displayed on a smart phone plus a variety of other common screen sizes including tablets and desktop monitors.

In today's world a page needs to be responsive not matter what the size of the device viewing your page. The UBCMS has Responsive Web Design (RWD) baked into it, but we still need to check that how we use our content on a page works across devlces.

Emulator button

Located at the top left of the window, the Emulator button opens a tool that simulates how your page will look on different screen-sizes, from common mobile devices to tablets to standard desktop monitors.

Choose from the provided devices (e.g. iPhone 8 Plus) and the page will adjust to the new screen size, allowing you to continue to make adjustments to your page content and layout and see their impact.

You may need to use the Content Optimization Container to set specific positions for content in full-size versus small screen devices.

This Flex UI tool allows authors to preview and make necessary layout adjustments to a variety of different screen sizes, from common mobile devices to tablets to standard desktop monitors.

Click then choose from the provided devices (e.g. iPhone 8 Plus) to view your page in that screen size. You can also edit the page in this view to see the impact.
