Digital Communications Transformation Advisory Council is a
high-level advisory group that provides advice to the vice
president for external affairs on the university-wide
implementation of a new approach to planning, producing and
managing websites.
It is critical for us to optimize UB’s investments and
tightly coordinate tactics for our cyber-presence—as we have
done for our physical space. Increasingly, there will be a finite
set of resources for managing and producing our cyber-presence, and
as a university, we will have to make smart choices about how to
best deploy those resources. This group is actively engaged in
shaping these decisions.
The committee is charged with helping to set strategic
priorities and funding priorities for communications investments at
the university level; and with establishing expectations for
funding commitments from the divisions, schools and
departments.
Board members are active champions for the “new
paradigm,” working to build support and help with successful
change management.
Specific topics the board advises on include:

Services
