UBCMS documentation is regularly updated to reflect changes in the system and your needs. Read about the recent changes by the Help Desk team.

Updates for the week ending May 17, 2019

  • File Download (More component) - An icon has been added for mp3 file formats.
  • Photo (Core component) - Accessibility changes:
    • Selecting 'does not require alt text' now hides any text that has been previously entered from your live page.
    • A period and space are now added at the end of any alt text that does not already end with punctuation. (This is not visible in the dialog box.) This increases the clarity with which a screen reader reads the page.
  • Photo Teaser (More component) - New option to show/hide border similar to the Photo component.
