Enhance your site by leveraging shared content

Shared content is a powerful tool that allows you to steward your site more effectively and efficiently. This is because shared content is created and managed in one place, and can be used in many other places.

Another key advantage to shared content is that it is mutually beneficial. It's a way for your content to appear:

  • in multiple places on your own site
  • on other sites within your unit
  • on other units' websites

And it's a tool that allows you to incorporate relevant content into your site—content that is not your core and for which you may not be the subject matter expert (tuition and fees information, for example).

The UBCMS lets you leverage shared content on your site(s) in a variety of ways, from the simplicity of the Button component to a module or even a whole paragraph or Web page.
