Earlier today, UBCMS authors reported problems editing content in the UBCMS using Mozilla Firefox 15, the latest version of the Web browser that updated on Aug. 29.

It has been determined that there are compatibility issues with the UB Content Management System authoring environment in Firefox 15.

Enterprise Application Services is currently working on a patch to address the issue. The patch should be installed by Wednesday, Sept. 5.

In the meantime, UBCMS authors should either avoid upgrading to Firefox 15 or, if they have upgraded already, temporarily use a different Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari.

This announcement is being communicated to UBCMS users because Firefox is a recommended browser for achieving the best results in the UBCMS. Internet Explorer 7 and 8 are also recommended.

Further inquiries regarding UBCMS issues may be directed to the UBCMS support team via the Request Forms.
