Best practice: Don’t let your page get too large (file size, not length). Smaller page sizes publish and download faster, avoiding backed up replication queues (when your page is published) and improving page performance (when users visit your site).  In general, we ask you not to create pages with a total size over 50MB and preferably much smaller, by keeping attached or embedded files small. Try to host big images, documents and multimedia in Assets whenever possible, or on more appropriate platforms like YouTube or Panopto.
