• Photo of the Week: Fixed cropping of photo in mobile view, and improved show/hide caption via tap in mobile.
• Slidedeck: Horizontal: Removed "Layout" menu for authors not in the Slidedeck Hero Layout pilot.
• Flex UI (pilot): Added several new keyboard shortcuts:
  • Note: These shortcuts are only available in the new Flex UI authoring interface, not the Classic UI interface.
  • All of these shortcuts require no modifier keys (ctrl, shift, etc.). Just push the key (as long as you are not in the process of editing text).
  • All of these shortcuts are on the Page Editor, not other pages like Sites Admin, Start, etc.
  • There will be documentation and a quick-reference page about the shortcuts coming soon.
  • m - Mode: toggle between preview and edit mode
  • p - Page Properties: open the page properties dialog
  • c - Components: open the left side drawer and switch to the components list, or close the drawer if components is selected (edit mode only)
  • a - Assets: open the left side drawer and switch to the asset picker, or close the drawer if assets is selected (edit mode only)
  • / - Annotations: toggle annotation mode on and off
  • x - Collapsible: collapse or expand the focused Collapsible component, or all Collapsible components on the page if none are focused (edit mode only). There is also a new button on the collapsible toolbar to collapse/expand from edit mode.

• Stewardship: Added new "Email page steward when review date has passed" notification option on Stewardship tab of page properties.
• Collapsible: Fixed issue where "Exclude from On This Page lists" checkbox did not work.
• Form: Fixed issue where the default storage path of a form prevented child pages from having forms that stored data in their default path.
• Text: Fixed text component missing title bar and being locked to narrow column width.
• Author Notes (pilot): Improvements based on pilot feedback: icon is customizable, layout is tweaked, moved above alert banners on the page.
• Faces and Voices Hero (pilot): Fixed issues identified in the pilot, including auto-sizing text, spacing in the quote attribution, added host page field to dialog, fixed profiles with links in the teaser.
• Flex UI (pilot): Added spell check to rich text editor in components where it was missing, such as Flex Module.
• Flex UI (pilot): Rearranged Table component dialog box toolbar to make table properties button more noticeable.
• Flex UI (pilot): Fixed cut/copy and paste of multiple components at once often skipping components.
• Flex UI (pilot): Hid author-only notices in dynamic list modules that were showing in preview mode.

• Reports: Updated DAM Report to show same modified/published metadata as Page Report. Also updated Page Report to show time modified and published.
• Tabs: Fixed initialization of list broken into columns used within Tabs component.
• Flex UI: Improved information available about locked pages -- status is shown in Site Admin card view and list view (column available, but not shown by default).
• Adaptive Crop and Zoom (pilot): Updated labels and descriptions and added to more dialog boxes.
• Faces & Voices Hero Layout (pilot): Made improvements discussed in pilot: no auto-comma, no < > arrows when only one item, Faces & Voices label can be edited, can link to profiles.
• Authoring Notes (pilot): Icon can be selected. Also, last modified timestamp now references notes modification instead of page modification.

• Column Control: Added more column choices to some sites (many sites did not have the full list of options before). Also, column choices no longer depend on design mode settings and can no longer be customized in design mode.
• List: Fixed an issue breaking links from a curated list to a redirect page that redirects to a password protected (-pw) page.
• Reports: The list of reports when creating a new one is now alphabetized.
• Call to Action Button Bar (Pilot only): Can now be used in the page footer if enabled in design mode.
• Flex UI: Added a new "Authoring Alerts" component to fill in for some uses of annotations. See upcoming documentation on how to try this.
• Flex UI: Added ability to clear the page image set in page properties. Also fixed an issue requiring alt text even when no photo is used.
• Flex UI: Improved information available about locked pages -- status is shown in Site Admin card view and list view (column available, but not shown by default), and the user who locked the page is shown when trying to unlock it from the page editor view.
  • An issue was discovered with the locked pages status shown in Flex UI Site Admin change and this was not deployed.
• Flex UI: Improved rendering of side-by-side diff.
• Flex UI: Site Admin modified to make since-published indicator icon more noticeable.

• List components: Fixed styles of bulleted lists when used within Display as: Full content List components.
• Flex UI: More consistent use of placeholders for new and blank components.
• Flex UI: Faster transitions (fewer page reloads) and more consistent spacing when switching between edit and preview mode.
• Flex UI: Fixed "Go to source of..." links to open in Flex UI.

• Fixed bug in Safari (desktop and mobile) that made many pages have a horizontal scroll bar or extra space down the right side.
• Fixed wording of alt text popup mentioning "video" instead of "photo" in some cases.
• Flex UI: Fixed bug where "Create page" was not always working.
• Flex UI: Disabled Move page button for published pages when author does not have access to re-publish page.
• Photo (pilot only): Added "adaptive crop and zoom" feature to fine tune teaser thumbnail images.

• Dropdown (Form) component: Dropdowns with "required" set now create an empty choice requiring the user to actively select a choice rather than defaulting to the first choice.
• List Builder: Fixed "mobile limit" setting which was broken since 6.3 upgrade (April 2018).
• Workflow: Workflows started on DAM assets now work and send the usual notification emails.
• Column Control: Some inconsistencies with spacing of certain components used at the top of columns has been fixed.
• List Builder and other components: Added "or you do not have permission to see" reminders to various "path does not exist" error messages.
• Reports: Created new reports for grid story and grid quote components.
• News Teaser: Fixed issue with teaser headline text was white-on-white in shared content author mode.
• List Builder (experimental): Column option is now compatible with Display as: Full content. Note: this option is experimental. Many components will render well, but some (carousel, slide shows, etc.) should not be used with this setting.
• Text (experimental): Updated bulleted and numbered list styling. For now, this is experimental and only affects lists wrapped in class feature-new-list-syle, such as by using a Content Optimization Component or adding this class to "CSS classes" in page properties.
• Flex UI: Dynamic list component dialog boxes updated to Flex UI.
• Flex UI: "Manage Publication" button in Sites list is now visible for all users.
• Flex UI: Workflow emails now link to either Flex UI or Classic UI based on the recipient's settings.
• Flex UI: The large extra space below the site header when editing the page in Flex UI has been collapsed.
• Flex UI: Content Optimization Component no longer hides mobile-only content in authoring mode (same as Classic UI).
• Flex UI: Fixed which start page buttons/tools are visible to users.

• Reports: New "Show References" report displays references to a particular page or list of pages. This report includes information about pages that may not be visible to you which are omitted from the built-in "Show References" command in the sidekick and siteadmin list.
• Reports: New columns have been added to Page report to show the "Hide in" settings from page properties.
• List: A negative value can now be used for the "Limit" setting, which includes that many items from the end of the list instead of from the beginning.
• CRXDE: Access to CRXDE is now restricted to members of "specialist" groups of any site. If you require access to CRXDE and are locked out, contact your unit web leader to be added to the specialist group for your site. Note, CRXDE is typically used only for customization and other developer activities.
• Redirect Page: The redirect URL in page properties on a redirect page is now always in sync with the value in the component on the redirect page, no matter which way is used to edit it.
• Printing: Fixed a bug causing Firefox to only print the first page of any UBCMS web page.
• Profiles: Fixed a bug preventing column controls from being used correctly on profile pages.
• Callout: Fixed a bug that made callouts overlap the Related Content column.
• Files from the "Din" typeface (in www.buffalo.edu/etc/designs/ubcms/fonts) are no longer used and are being removed.
• Dynamic List: "Display as: Catalog list" for displaying teasers about using shared content is now also available in the Dynamic list. Also fixed a bug preventing long URLs from wrapping in list and dynamic list catalog display.
• Photo of the Week (experimental component): Fixed a bug that broke the link to the photo in some cases.
• Long-term Alert Banner (yellow "COVID-19" banner): The version of the banner for use on external sites is now compatible with jQuery 2 (and therefore all versions of jQuery).
• Table: When viewing tables on a shared content page, the table header is now correctly colored.
• Flex UI (pilot): Added comments back to the dialog box for starting a workflow.
• Flex UI (pilot): Fixed a bug showing some extra title fields in the dialog box for creating a new page.
• Flex UI (pilot): Enhanced key tasks and external embed component dialog boxes.
• Flex UI (pilot): Fixed incorrect link to Reports from start page.
• Flex UI (pilot): Fixed bug preventing versions from being listed for some pages.

• Shared content: Fixed a bug where images in shared content pages referenced by way of another shared content page were not inheriting the correct size for the page they were included on.
• Favicon: The UB "favicon" file that displays in tabs and bookmarks has been updated to look better against different backgrounds.
• Form: When a form is submitted and a separate confirmation page is not used, the confirmation message is now scrolled into view after the form is submitted if it is not already visible on the page (i.e. if the form is at the bottom of the page).
  
• Dynamic List: When a search is performed on a dynamic list, the list is scrolled into view when the page is reloaded if it is not already visible (i.e. if the list is at the bottom of the page).

• Dynamic List: Searches using a dynamic list component now do "stemming" to allow some fuzzy matching. For example, searching for "student" will now find pages with the word "students" and vice-verse.
• Download: The download component now escapes special characters (like "#") in the name of the file. Previously some characters made the download not work.
• Favicon: The UB "favicon.ico" icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks has been updated to not have jagged edges in some situations.
• Search: Fixed a bug that allowed horizontal scrolling on UBCMS search results pages.

• Video (Youtube): Fixed broken settings (auto-play and loop) and removed others that Youtube no longer supports.
• Button: Added yellow color choice.
• Password Protected Published Pages: group memberships were not updated from LDAP after a user's first login, but are now continuously refreshed from LDAP.

• Shared Content: Title components no longer move below float left/right elements on the page.
• Social Button: Added TikTok icon as a built-in choice.
• Jumbo Top Navigation: Improved formatting of flex modules with no title and embedded links.
• Formstack: Fixed problems with Previous/Next buttons in forms due to jQuery incompatibility.

• Dispatcher Flush Triggers: An error preventing timely updates when publishing shared content and some site home pages has been fixed.
• Social Metadata: Social <meta> tags added from the Social tab in page properties have been updated to keep in line with Facebook and Twitter recommendations. Also, alt text for social images is a new option for the page.
• Flex Module: Flex Modules with only button content (no title, image, text, list) now show again as they did before the 6.5 upgrade.
• Faces and Voices Template: An error preventing newly-created Faces and Voices shared content pages has been fixed.
• Automatic sorting in areas such as /content/www has been fixed.
• Fixed several minor HTML and CSS validation issues.

• Dynamic List: Fixed host page setting not working on dynamic lists.
• Profile Pages: Fixed column control not working on some profile pages.
• Search Results: Fixed an issue where sort drop-down could be cut off behind the header on very short pages.
