List no longer supports datestamps (or other display formats)

A list may display datestamps on your live page but there is no corresponding display setting in Author.

The Issue

We reduced the variety of display settings on some lists, for example, the mini list provided in a Flex Module. Thus an older version of this module on your live site may still show bulleted links with datestamps, but there is no longer a way to reproduce this setting in Author. Changingh your page in Author will lose the deprecated styling and revert to simpler "call to action" bullets.

Workaround

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. This was part of an intentional update to UBCMS components and there is no way to reproduce that full range of display settings in that particular components.

The workaround is to adjust to the new more limited display setting options, or to reproduce the list using the fully enabled List Builder (perhaps with an additional Title), where the full range of display settings is supported. Another alternative might be to use the Flexible Shared Content template.
