Step 3 - Author Approval

In this step, you'll verify that your AUTHOR environment has been successfully converted to NextGen.

Timeframe: 1-2 days for review

Change Freeze in Effect

Once you receive notification that AUTHOR conversion is complete, the freeze begins. You cannot edit content, publish pages, create new pages, or make any site changes until Step 4 is complete. Breaking the freeze may result in lost work or conversion errors.

What to do in Step 3

  1. Review Author: On your converted AUTHOR site, review the same pages you reviewed in Step 2. 
    • Verify that AUTHOR matches the QA2 environment you approved in Step 2.
  2. Submit Approval: Once you verify AUTHOR conversion is accurate, submit AUTHOR approval.

What to expect next

  • EAS will schedule and perform site activation (1-2 business days). 
  • The freeze continues until Step 4 is complete.
  • You'll be notified when ready for Step 4.
