In this step, you'll verify your public LIVE site has been successfully activated on NextGen.
Timeframe: 1-2 days for review
EAS will notify you when SITE ACTIVATION is complete.
- Review the same pages you reviewed in Steps 2 and 3 on your public LIVE site. Verify:
- LIVE site matches the AUTHOR version you approved in Step 3
- All pages and components display correctly
- If you notice a NextGen-related issue — typically a custom code adjustment or an image component that didn't map correctly — you may make that fix and publish it. These are expected finishing touches.
- If you encounter something beyond your ability to fix — a conversion error or something that looks fundamentally wrong — do not attempt to correct it yourself. Please report a conversion issue and EAS will assist.
- Any unpublished changes from Step 1 are now live as expected
- Once you verify your LIVE site is accurate, submit LIVE approval.
Once you submit LIVE approval:
- Change freeze ENDS - You can resume normal editing and publishing
- Your site is now on NextGen
Important post-conversion tasks:
- Re-lock any pages that were unlocked for conversion (see your site report)
