These keyboard steps will simplify and speed your UBCMS work.
These are Windows/Linux and MAC OS keyboard shortcuts for some commonly-used features, which are also frequently labeled on toolbars and menus (look for tool tips and hovers). For users who do not use keyboard shortcuts or have accessibility needs, some shortcuts can be disabled in My Preferences.

When using the keyboard shortcut to Edit a page in Flex UI, some authors are warned about the page opening in a pop-up window. (This does not occur when clicking the Edit button.)
The popup blockers in some browsers (e.g. Firefox) treat keystrokes differently from clicks. While a click will open a new tab, a keystroke will prompt the user for popup feedback.
This is expected behavior of the browser not a Flex UI issue. Users should select 'Allow popups for ubcms-author.buffalo.edu' from the yellow bar if they intend to use shortcuts in that browser.

Use these tricks to insert special characters like emojis, symbols and accents into components that use the Rich Text Editor.
